San Diego, CA: November 10, 2008: Minister Deb Gordon, an ordained wedding officiant and graduate of Emory University’s Candler School of Theology asks California residents to re-think a constitutional amendment. Minister Deb released this comment today: “This is a time of reflection, opportunity and hope. We have elected the first African-American President, while taking away the rights of an underrepresented group of citizens who want equal rights. This is a confusing time for the LGBT community and we stand together and promise to fight until we are all equal.”

Minister Deb is considered an expert in the field of same-sex marriage. She is preparing to defend her doctoral dissertation on the impact of same-sex marriage in San Diego County. Minister Deb is believes that many citizens who voted ‘Yes on Prop ‘ were purposely misled about the facts of the issue and really believed that same-sex marriage would have been taught in the schools. “We know that the ‘Yes on 8’ team fabricated lies and fear in order to pass their agenda.
